Police found six deadly World War One rockets stashed behind a bus stop and are searching to find the person who left them there.
Essex police put out an appeal on their Facebook page sharing images of the rockets, but some believed it was an April Fool's prank.
One sceptic wrote: "Hmmmm - true or an April Fool??!"
Cops responded to the comment insisting the post was 'a bona fide appeal'.
A spokesman for the force said: "We are appealing to find out who left six anti-tank rockets behind a bus stop in Coopersale this week.

Police are appealing for the person who left the rockets to come forward
"We were called at 4.55pm on Tuesday, March 29, with reports of ordnance being found behind a bus stop on the B181 #Epping Road.
"The Army Explosives Ordnance Disposal Unit attended and disposed of the rockets nearby and confirmed they were six live anti-tank rockets from WW2.
"We are appealing to find the person who left these items at the bus stop and to find out whether they have any more."
